WHAT WE DO
Justice Desk Africa is an award-winning Human Rights Organisation that operates across various African countries. We were established in 2013, with the main goal of Promoting the Power of Everyday Activists.
Our mission is to empower everyday people, within all areas of society, to understand, defend and access their fundamental human rights. We believe that the everyday person understands their community and unique contexts like no other, and therefore are best suited to challenge the injustices that affect them and work towards transforming their communities for the better.
The everyday person has immense power, and therefore responsibility, to lead incredible, sustainable and impactful change - and it is our mission as Justice Desk Africa to educate, equip and empower them on their journey to do just that.
We do this through empowering and equipping local people with the necessary skills, tools, knowledge and platforms to lead their own change, through a variety of training and education opportunities, national and international lobbying initiatives, as well as community-led empowerment programs.

OUR FOCAL AREAS
#ARMYforMbokodo is a network of BTS ARMY from across the world who support our mission to end gender-based violence in South Africa, through our Mbokodo Program.
They began the "Big Sister Program" which pairs up an Mbokodo girl with a big sister from the BTS Army, in order to raise funds and support for our work.
