At the Justice Desk we’re super proud of our Youth Ambassador Wilma Knuckles from St. Ambrose Academy in Sierra Leone. Since being appointed in early 2022, Wilma has proven herself as an incredible young activist with a passion for children's rights, ensuring that all children have access to quality education.
Very active in the fight against gender-based violence, Wilma has led multiple talks and campaigns at her school and in her community, which has resulted in recognition from the Sierra Leone government. In particular, she was officially appointed as Sierra Leone's Ambassador for Children by Her Excellency the First Lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Mrs. Fatima Maada, which is a phenomenal achievement.
We are all overjoyed at Wilma’s success and we look forward to seeing the many campaigns that she’ll continue to run as a Justice Desk Youth Ambassador in the future.
